Healthcare in India is still under reached to the vast majority of the populations and the situation is worse in case of mental health. A vast majority of people don't know whom to contact and the pain and suffering they undergo is difficult to estimate. I have found for years people keep moving from doctors to faith healers with no respite.I don't know how it is going to turn out in long run but with this blog I intend to generate awareness regarding mental illness and an effort to connect people suffering from mental illness to mental health professionals.
I also request for greater participation from all so that at least some change can be brought in lives of many.Currently this blog is at a very nascent stage, a lot of changes and work will be done to improve the content.
